Paul Bolotovsky, Co-Founder of Body By Yoga, came to us in January in need of reliable customer service, a more streamlined backend system and the ability to ship their luxury cork yoga mats from a convenient location.
Body By Yoga is an online fitness program designed to help build a stronger body and improve mental toughness by giving people the tools to feel, move and live better.
The yoga-centered company was established by founders Paul Bolotovsky and Dean Pohlman in 2014 and offers consumers unlimited or pay as you go virtual yoga classes as well as performance yoga gear. With a focus on introducing consumers to functional fitness, Body By Yoga is tailored toward the physical benefits of training to help people move, perform and feel better doing activities they love the most.
The company was created with the intent to bring yoga to everyone, regardless of geographic location or fitness level.

The company enlisted the help of Fulex earlier this year for ecommerce order fulfillment, especially when it came to shipping its eco-friendly, Portuguese cork yoga mats.
“Our yoga mats are on the heavier side (Body By Yoga mats are one of the thickest cork yoga mats on the market), and the boxes we use to ship them in tend to be larger than standard shipping boxes,” Bolotovsky said. “Being located in San Diego myself, proximity to the fulfillment center was also important.”
Body By Yoga began primarily as an Amazon brand with streaming content available via video and DVD. As the company grew it added products to go along with its program offerings and began the transition of fulfilling its own products directly through its website.
This is the phase where business owners often turn to a Third Party Logistics (3PL) provider as the need to scale often becomes more than they can or want to manage themselves. Body By Yoga tried three previous ecommerce fulfillment centers before it found Fulex.
